Mazda RX7

 

The car we are introducing this time is Mazda's RX7. The RX7 is a Japanese sports car called "Zero fighter plane on Ground ".  This was due to the fact that the aircraft was reduced in weight in Japan during World War II, when the Zero  fighter plane was created, and that the RX7 was also reduced in weight.

"R" stands for "rotary engine" and "X" for "symbol of the future," which is also called "rotary speciality."  "7" means the car number in Mazda. There were two, three, four and five models that adopted the name of the RX, but this was the first model to use the RX in Japan, and so was the successor 8.

The RX7 is the world's first car to use a rotary engine. It was a German engineer named Felix Vankel who invented the rotary engine. And it is the engine with the best engine rotation efficiency that Mazda engineers in Japan have actually created.

RX7 Types

There are three types of RX7. The first generation is SA22 (FB3S) type savanna RX7. A second generation is FC3S and FC3C type RX7. The third generation is now the most popular and most expensive type of FD3S RX7.

In the past, the RX7 was so cheap that in the United States, along with the first Fair Lady Z (S30), it was called the Poorman’s Porsche.  However, the RX7 is now trading at a very high price, and like GT-R and Supra, it is so popular that there are many thefts.

After the RX7, the RX8 is manufactured, and the RX8 is the latest model for cars using rotary engines.  

The RX8 is not as popular as the RX7, but the current RX7 is so expensive that more and more people are buying the relatively inexpensive RX8.

NISSAN GT-R

Today, I will introduce the best car in Japan called Nissan's GTR. This time, I will introduce two of the most popular GTR cars that represent Japan.

SKYLINE R34 GT-R

The first one is the R34 Skyline GTR. This model was produced from 1999 to 2002, and is the most popular model among the wide variety of GTRs, with fewer units. As a result, the car is worth 10-20 million yen in Japanese yen, even though it is an old car over 20 years old, attracting the attention of people who like GTR both inside and outside Japan.Maximum output is 280 ps

The maximum torque is 40.0 kgf, and when the limiter is released, the maximum speed exceeds 300 km/h.

NISMO R35 GT-R

The second is the latest model and the NISMOR35 GTR, which contains Nissan's best technology. The model has been on sale since 2007 and has been a very popular model to date. The R35GTR is not a traditional skyline, but a new NISMO 2022 model, NISMO Special Edition, and the number of pre-orders for the 2022 model reached 171, exceeding the number of units sold in fiscal 2020 (131 units) in just two months. The maximum output is 570 ps, the maximum torque is 65.0 kgm, and the maximum speed is said to exceed 400 km/h when the limiter is released, so it is not too much to say that it is the fastest car in Japan.

The GTR is Japan's highest sports car, more than 50 years after its first model was announced. The GTR is a car loved not only in Japan but also around the world, and it is Japan's pride.

Toyota Supra

 

The car I will introduce this time is a Japanese sports car called "Supra" developed by Toyota.  The Supra has a very long history, and in Japan it was first released name was "CelicaXXX" as far back as 1978.  There are many types of Supra, so I will introduce two types this time.　And these two types of Supra are my favorite models, and I can't decide which one is number one.

 The name of the car is 80 Supra RZ(RZ-S)

 This car is very old and is still a popular model.  It is the fourth developed Supra.  Until now, the Supra was a model with the image of a grand touring car, but we will change from the 4th generation A80 type Supra that appeared in 1993 to a full-scale pure sports car route.  The selling price was 4 to 5 million yen in Japanese yen,

 It's a very valuable car now, so it can be traded for 10 million yen.

 Next is the latest Supra of the current model.  This is a recently released car that was jointly developed by Toyota Japan and BMW, which is based in the Federal Republic of Germany.  Using the latest technology from Toyota and BMW, the Supra is a sister car to the BMW Z4.Currently, this car was only an AT car, but recently Toyota announced the development of an MT car.　This Supra is sold in Japanese Yen for 4 to 8 million yen, and the interior of the car is wider and the width of the car is wider than the Supra RZ.

 I introduced two types of Supra this time.  These two cars are loved not only in Japan but all over the world, and they are also used in foreign movies, which is the pride of Japan recognized by the world.  For example, the Supra is also used in the American movie "Fast and Furious", making it a car with fans all over the world.
